Housing

The city must stop giving money to private developers and become the builder itself by adopting the international "Vienna Model" to create permanently affordable, mixed-income housing. My platform blocks corporate landlords, strengthens tenant rights to guarantee functional necessities like working elevators, and establishes "The High Rise Hub" to create vibrant communities near core transit lines.

Transit & getting around

We will reduce gridlock and fund a better, more reliable TTC by introducing digital rush-hour tolls for driving into downtown Toronto. This strategy converts underutilized driving and parking lanes into dedicated bus routes and protected bike lanes to make commuting faster and safer than driving. Furthermore, through my proposed public bank, we will lower monthly transit fare caps for seniors, youth, and low-income residents.

Taxes & city services

Instead of keeping public money in big Bay Street banks, I am proposing the creation of the Toronto Community Investment Bank (TCIB)—a city-owned, not-for-profit credit union that keeps municipal funds local to directly finance neighborhood upgrades. This self-reliant model protects struggling homeowners from skyrocketing property taxes while ensuring our local shops thrive by offering residents cash-back rewards towards free TTC rides when they shop locally

Policing & safety

True public safety requires expanding our definition of infrastructure to fund critical community health resources, emergency relief, and targeted mental health support systems. By bypassing corporate lenders, the Toronto Community Investment Bank will unlock specialized funding to build over 10,000 supportive housing units dedicated to addressing unhoused mental health service delivery across the city.

Climate & environment

Our campaign is actively modeling environmental leadership through the "Banana Campaign," a completely zero-waste municipal initiative. Beyond eliminating campaign litter, my broader climate platform aggressively fights emissions by providing viable, rapid transit and cycling alternatives, and structural changes like a new form of corporation for natural elements. A nature corporation to give Don river and lake Ontario a personhood status.
