Housing

Housing is a problem in Toronto and in every major city throughout the world. It is basically a supply and demand issue that is too many people competing for too few homes I feel the best solution to this problem is to greatly remove barriers and give generous tax incentives for builders who build affordable living spaces and to work with closely such developers. I believe my take on this problem is very reasonable as could possibly be done with minimal or no rise of taxes.

Transit & getting around

We can start by a campaign showing the benefits of using public transit and carpooling and many people who work close to others and can have a special app for nearby workers who use cars and they can rotate their cars and help each other with gas. We should consider adding another extra lane in some sections of the 401/DVP (this is something that would needed to worked with the province obviously). On a positive note many subway and transportation projects around Toronto are already in the works, but we can also add more trains and buses in the TTC as this will be helpful.

Taxes & city services

I will introduce a new era of simplicity and efficiency and will appoint efficiency and waste experts (people who will work with me to lessen waste and simplify things without cutting any services). I will also try to get rid of duplication and repetition and create a more user friendly and organized city hall with less complicated forms and systems. These will also LOWER TAXES due to greater simplicity, efficiency and less waste and a more organized city hall. Affordability cannot be considered without taking into consideration being organized, waste and inefficiency, it's all interlinked!

Policing & safety

The proper recognition of sociopathic and psychopathic tendencies needs brought to public and society’s attention in regards crime, violence or abuse. We focus on things such as race or background but not that very important distinction. The hard facts are that you simply cannot study crime, violence, or abuse without acknowledging this very crucial factor. Also: I will have lawful police accountability via the Police Services Board: Civilian governance sits with the Toronto Police Services Board (TPSB). I will pledge to use the Mayor’s statutory seat on the TPSB to mandate transparency.

Climate & environment

I will encourage the use of public transportation by educating the public about it's various benefits. I will also try to make acceptance of cyclists as genuine road users as they don't cause pollution. In many parts of the world bicycles share the road with motor vehicles just fine because they expect them to be there and are well aware on how to work with them. Education about the issues of climate and environment will also be important.

Other

In addition to the 311 Toronto phone number I want to create a website for Toronto that is very unique and can help people in Toronto in various ways. An example of how it would benefit you is; let’s say you open a new restaurant or store in the city or perhaps you want to need help with finding your lost pet you can mention it request to add it to the website. I will also use Toronto as a springboard of fresh and new ideas, as Toronto currently waits for other cities to implement ideas first but I will make sure we will also try to come up with better or new ideas ourselves.
